This hotel is perfect for me, with great amenities like free wi-fi, a lovely pool, and a cute bar/lounge area. I remember the staff helped me return forgotten jewellery on my first stay, a lot. I recommend trying the delicious breakfast. I'll be back for Christmas!

I enjoyed the old world feeling about it, the preservation of interesting older aspects combined with modern amenities. The staff were most attentive.

The dinner we had was excellent and the breakfast was also very good. All the staff we had contact with were friendly, cheerful and very helpful.
Nothing to complain about at all. We were only there one night, but it was a very pleasant stay.

Attention to detail in all the facilitirs we used is very good. Furnishings elegant and comfortable and of quality..Staff well trained and helpful. Room was kept at a good temperature (we were there in May and it was getting cold at nights) Evening meal menu extensive and included local dishes. Food well prepared and more than adequate in quantity.
One disadvantage we found was that we had to get into and out of the bath to use the shower. As a couple in their mid-seventies, we had some difficulty in being sufficiently flexible to do this easily. Also the shower head was not capable of adjustment to flow at different angles, which we found very inconvenient, apart from almost flooding the bathroom!.

Room was neat and airy and spotless.
Quaint hotel with free Wi-Fi and outstandingly accommodating staff. Efficient check-in and late check-out, parking on site. The pool was well-maintained, good after a tiring day. Very comfy beds, great location close enough to drive to main attractions. Based really close to South Africa as well as historic centre. Very relaxing stay, as always.

The hotel area was perfectly clean, the room was good-sized. I was there for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant with attentive staff. The beds were large and the view on garden was great. The staff was very very helpful, offered wake up service and ironing free of charge. The check in was fast and the atmosphere was family throughout the property. Furthermore, the parking was onsite and convenient.
